About Alexander

Alexander Mijatović is co-founder of Brainorithmics and has accompanied the company since it was founded in 2020. With his background in business administration, international management consulting and strategic corporate development, he combines entrepreneurial thinking with a great passion for education, technology and innovation.

Together with his wife Nataša, he founded Brainorithmics with a clear vision: not only to teach children knowledge, but to prepare them for a future in which logical thinking, creativity and digital skills become ever more important.

Since 2022, Alexander has also been teaching himself, guiding children along their learning journey. His goal is to show children that mathematics and technology need not be complicated subjects, but are exciting tools for developing ideas, solving problems and understanding the world better.

My Mission

I am convinced that education today must achieve far more than conveying knowledge. Children need skills that will accompany them throughout their lives. They should learn to think logically, act creatively, take responsibility and approach challenges with confidence.

Technology is not an end in itself. It is a tool that helps children realise their ideas and actively shape their own future. This is exactly the enthusiasm I want to pass on in every lesson.

My Role at Brainorithmics

Alongside my work as a teacher, I am responsible for the strategic and organisational development of our education centre. I personally teach in the following areas:

Brainorithmics MathIndividual tutoring across school subjectsCoding KnightDigital LiteracyVisual ProgrammingArtificial Intelligence (AI)Holiday campsWorkshopsOrganising children’s birthday partiesAdvising and supporting parents

Areas of Responsibility

In addition, I am responsible for key entrepreneurial areas:

  • Corporate strategy
  • Marketing and brand development
  • Technical infrastructure
  • Digitalisation
  • Financial planning
  • Procurement
  • Process optimisation
  • Business development
  • Strategic development of Brainorithmics

My Teaching Philosophy

“Children don’t learn to code in order to become programmers. They learn to code in order to think logically, act creatively and solve challenges with confidence. When children learn to think independently and try new paths, we as teachers have achieved our most important goal.”

My Values

For me, education means far more than conveying knowledge. I want to support children not only academically, but also strengthen them as people. The following are especially important to me:

  • Respect
  • Honesty
  • Fairness
  • Tolerance
  • Empathy
  • Discipline
  • Teamwork
  • Patience
  • Confidence
  • Creativity
  • Independent thinking

My Vision for the Future

My wish is that our students not only learn successfully, but also grow into responsible, open-minded and confident personalities.

My wish is for Brainorithmics to become an education centre that stands for innovation, quality and trust — a place where children not only learn mathematics and programming, but develop skills that will accompany them throughout their lives.

Because the world needs not only people with knowledge. It needs people who think creatively, solve problems and are ready to take responsibility.

My Guiding Principle

Education opens up possibilities. Curiosity opens up the future.

About Me

Beyond Brainorithmics, I most enjoy spending time with my family and my two children. I love to travel and am fascinated by other cultures, new perspectives and exchanging ideas with people from different countries. My greatest interests include photography, tennis and the international financial markets and economic developments, which I have followed for many years. I firmly believe that lifelong learning is one of the most important keys to personal growth. Openness, curiosity and the willingness to keep developing shape both my professional life and my work with children. Together with my wife Nataša and our whole team, I work every day to develop Brainorithmics further and to offer children a learning environment where they can discover their talents, build confidence and learn with joy.
