Coding courses
We get kids ready for the future! Children learn to code playfully: creative, age appropriate and full of fun.
Learn moreOur school in the old town of Aarau, a five minute walk from the station, with courses for children aged 3 to 18.
Our Aarau location is at Laurenzenvorstadt 77, only about 350 metres from Aarau train station. The classroom is on the ground floor, so even the youngest children and parents with a pushchair can reach it without stairs. Parking is available right in front of the building and in a car park nearby, both paid.
In Aarau we teach the full Brainorithmics programme: coding courses from Coding Knight to Python & AI, maths courses in five levels, tutoring in maths, German and English, Mini Brainiax for the youngest, as well as workshops, holiday camps and birthday parties. Lessons take place in small groups, in German and in English.
Thanks to its central location the school is easy to reach from across the canton of Aargau, from Buchs, Suhr, Rohr and Küttigen as well as from Lenzburg, Zofingen or Olten with a train ride of just a few minutes.
In Aarau we teach mainly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from early afternoon into the evening. For most families a lesson can follow straight on from the school day. A maths lesson lasts 105 minutes, Coding Knight and Digital Literacy 60 minutes each.
On top of that there is Mini Brainiax for children aged 3 to 5 as well as workshops and holiday camps, which we announce under Special offers and Events. In September 2026, for example, a crochet workshop for children and adults took place here. The exact groups, times and prices for each course are on the pages for maths, coding, tutoring and holiday camps in Aarau further down.
In Aarau the lessons are mainly taught by Nataša Mijatović, founder of Brainorithmics and creator of the Brainorithmics Math Program, together with Lorena Maurizzi, who looks after the younger primary school children in particular. The two of them run the maths groups for six to ten year olds and Coding Knight together. Both of them can also take on tutoring, Mini Brainiax and holiday camps, so your child meets familiar faces in other programmes too. Garvin Lehwald teaches mainly in Cham and steps in in Aarau when needed.
The groups in Aarau run in German. Tutoring is also possible in English on request, and children from Aarau attend Python, Minecraft and Game Design online in English.
Children come to us in Aarau not only from the town itself, but also from the neighbouring communities of Suhr, Buchs, Oberentfelden, Unterentfelden or Muhen and from the Lenzburg area with Seon, Villmergen and Schafisheim. From the west children come from Zofingen, Oftringen, Rothrist and Aarburg, and from the canton of Solothurn from Olten, Trimbach, Schönenwerd and as far as Balsthal and Oensingen. Some families even travel from Brugg, Baden, Frick, Liestal or Pratteln.
The same applies to everyone: the first lesson is a free trial lesson. Families who live further away can also attend tutoring and some coding courses online and only come to Aarau for the groups on site.
All Brainorithmics programmes: maths courses in age groups from 6 up to lower secondary, coding courses from Coding Knight through Digital Literacy and Visual Programming to AI, one to one tutoring, Mini Brainiax for ages 3 to 5 as well as workshops, holiday camps and birthday parties.
There are paid parking spaces right in front of the building on Laurenzenvorstadt, plus a car park nearby, also paid. By train it is about 350 metres from Aarau station, roughly a five minute walk.
Yes. The classroom is on the ground floor, with no stairs. That is convenient for the youngest children at Mini Brainiax and Coding Knight and for parents arriving with a pushchair.
