Holiday camps in Aarau: a week full of maths, technology and ideas
Holiday weeks at Laurenzenvorstadt 77 for children from Aarau and the whole canton of Aargau. Half day or full day, in two age appropriate groups.
Our holiday camps in Aarau take place during selected school holidays of the canton of Aargau, in the classroom at Laurenzenvorstadt 77, five minutes from the station. A camp week starts in the morning with arriving and a warm up game, followed by two blocks of experiments, maths, coding or technology, with breaks, movement and a shared lunch from the lunchbox in between. In the afternoon there is a special programme and time for own projects, and the day ends with a feedback round.
The children work in two groups by age, and the exact age range is stated for each camp. Younger siblings from about five can join if the group allows it. Anyone who only wants half a day can pick their child up after lunch. The camps in Aarau are led by Nataša Mijatović and Lorena Maurizzi, who also teach the maths and coding groups during the year, so the children often already know the faces.
For families from Aarau, Suhr, Buchs, Lenzburg, Zofingen or Olten the camp is holiday care from which the children take something home: a model they built, a game they programmed, an idea they keep developing at home. You will find the current dates and registration under special offers. Since we deliberately run small groups, it pays to enquire early.
