Holiday camps in Cham: holiday weeks for children from the Zug region
Full day holiday care at Riedstrasse 3 with maths, coding, experiments and technology. In German and English, in two groups.
The rooms at Riedstrasse 3 with learning lounge, computer room and play area offer space for two groups working in parallel. A camp day runs from 8:30 to 17:30, with STEM blocks in the morning, a shared lunch, a special programme and free project time in the afternoon and a feedback round at the end. Half day is also possible.
Lessons are in German and in English, which matters in Cham: many children come from international families in Zug, Baar, Hünenberg or Steinhausen, others from Lucerne or Lake Zurich. Groups are split by age, the age range is stated for each camp, and younger siblings from about five can join if the group allows it. The camps are led by Garvin Lehwald, Nataša Mijatović and Enija Sārmane.
Practical for parents: the entrance is on the car park side, children get out right by the door, and during the holidays you can usually park in front of the building. The current camps are always listed under special offers. Places are limited, and registering early secures a place.

Frequently asked questions about holiday camps in Cham
Is the holiday camp in Cham available in English?
Yes. The camps in Cham run bilingually, in German and English, and we form the groups so that every child can follow in their language. Children who speak both switch quite naturally.
How long is a camp day in Cham and is half day possible?
From 8:30 to 17:30, with arrival, two blocks in the morning, lunch at 12:30, special programme and project time in the afternoon. Half day means pick up after lunch at 13:30. You book either option when registering.
Is lunch included at the camp in Cham?
That depends on the camp. Some camps offer the full day option with or without a lunch package, at others the children bring a lunchbox. What applies is stated in the camp description. Snack breaks are a fixed part of the day.
We live in Zurich. Is the camp in Cham worth it?
Families from Zurich, Horgen, Thalwil and Kilchberg are among our customers in Cham. Cham is about 30 minutes from Zurich, and the camp days are long enough to make the journey worthwhile. Steinhausen Rigiblick station is 400 metres away.
What happens if my child falls ill during the camp?
We call you and you pick your child up. That is why we ask for a phone number at registration on which you can be reached during the day. For days missed due to illness we find a fair solution, just talk to us.
